The Meyer Dancers are London's "Go-to" 1960's and 1970's dance company!
TMD are a London based troupe and have been performing their exciting Go-Go act for 5 years. They are well established, having performed support-slots to 60's icons such as Geno Washington, The Sonics and The Trashmen. The troupe have shimmyed all over the world gracing stages such as The Park Stage at Glastonbury, Lovebox, The Isle of Wight (Hipshaker Lounge), Secret Garden Party, Berlin Beat Explosion, and many specialist soul and mod nights around London such as the groovy annual event Le Beat Bespoke Weekender!
The Meyer Dancers perform swinging 60's routines from mod to surf and soul, and now offer glam 70's disco and funk routines, perfect for weddings and private events! TMD are made up of trained dancers and choreographers and they also teach 1960's Go-Go, model and act! TMD's 1960's go-go classes are very popular in London and they are taken round to various festivals and events, look out for the next Go-Go class near you!
TMD are inspired by the strong feminine beauties from the movies of cult legend director Russ Meyer and embody the characters in performances. Now it's time to "Fasterpussycat, Kill! Kill!"
The Meyer Dancers have a large repertoire of swinging 60s routines and are available to hire for your event, club night, private party, wedding, corporate function or hen night! They are able to tailor their exciting brand of GoGo to you and your event.
The Meyer Dancers also teach private or group lessons and are available for music videos, TV and Modelling work. The Meyer Dancers can also do commissioned routines to themes or songs especially for your event. Recently, The Meyer Dancers have performed French, Bollywood and Egyptian 1960s GoGo sets for private functions.
